SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

Cloud computing experts from Cloud Academy, Inc., the leading provider of continuous training and certification for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, will be speaking at upcoming industry conferences that focus on cloud computing and serverless architectures.

On Saturday, September 30, 2016, Cloud Academy senior software engineer Alex Casalboni will be giving a talk entitled “Building Serverless Machine Learning Models in The Cloud” at the ServerlessConf in Tokyo, Japan. The session will take place from 5:00-6:00 PM local time on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Tabloid , 2 Chome-6-24 Kaigan, Minato, Tokyo 105-0022.

The session will describe the main challenges faced by data scientists involved in deploying machine learning models into real production environments. It will include references and examples of Python libraries and multi-model systems requiring advanced features such as A/B testing and high scalability and availability. While discussing the limitations of traditional deployment strategies, Casalboni will demonstrate how serverless computing can simplify a deployment workflow.

Casalboni will be presenting another session on machine learning models in Python at the PyData Conference in Washington D.C. The session will take place Saturday, October 8, 2:15PM ET in Room 1 at the Capital One McLean Conference Center, Capital One Drive, Tysons, Virginia.

The PyData Conference brings together users and developers of data analysis tools to discuss how best to apply Python tools, as well as tools using R and Julia, to meet evolving challenges in data management, processing, analytics, and visualization.

Separately, Cloud Academy launched new courses for the Japan market. The Solutions Architect, Associate Learning Path courses are now available with Japanese closed captioning.
