VHA Seeks Shredding Services at Hunter Holmes McGuire VAMC

SDVOSBs Invited to Submit Bids


Richmond, Virginia, June 05, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) released on Monday, June 5 a solicitation notice in which it outlined plans to secure shredding services at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center (VAMC) in Richmond, Virginia.

The VA intends to award the contract to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), and the contractor who receives the award must provide all labor, material, supplies, management, and supervision necessary to perform the shredding services. The contractor will provide the services at the Richmond VAMC as well as at six community-based outpatient clinics.

The VA intends to award a firm fixed-price contract, with a period of performance lasting from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, with four one-year renewal options.

Responses are due by no later than June 9, 2017, and must be emailed to Byron Brown at Byron.Brown4@va.gov.

The contractor who receives this contract also must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
