National Parks Service to Replace Bobcat Boardwalk in the Everglades

Small Business Contractors Invited to Submit Proposals


Homestead, Florida , June 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Department of the Interior, National Parks Service (NPS), Southeast Region released on Tuesday, June 6 a presolicitation notice in which it outlined plans to award a firm fixed-price contract to replace the Bobcat Boardwalk in Everglades National Park (Shark Valley, 36000 SW 8th Street, Miami, Florida).

According to the presolicitation notice, the NPS intends to award the contract to a certified small business, and the contractor who receives the contract award must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision required to complete the project.

The relevant NAICS Code is 238190, Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors, and the business size standard is $15 million.

Because of the project nature, according to the presolicitation, the NPS will conduct a site visit, which interested contractors are strongly advised to attend. The NPS will announce the date and time for the site visit in the official solicitation, which it intends to release on or around June 21.

The contractor who receives this contract also must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
