VA Seeks Ambulance Services for Northern Indiana Health Care System

Anticipates Issuing Contract in October


Fort Wayne, Indiana , June 08, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Northern Indiana Health Care System, released a presolicitation notice on June 8 in which it outlined plans to secure ambulance services for the Wyoming Health Care System in Wyoming, Michigan.

The VA intends to release an official RFQ on or around June 26, and anticipates issuing a contract by October 1. The contract will cover a one-year period, and include four one-year option periods.

The contractor who receives the award must provide all necessary vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment, materials, and reports to furnish BLS and ALS ambulance services in accordance with Joint Commission Standards and GSA Federal Standard KKK-A-1822F.

The relevant NAICS code for this requirement is 621910.

The contractor who receives this contract also must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
