CITIC Telecom CPC expands its connectivity services from Tallinn to Tokyo

LONDON, Aug. 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Telecommunications operations in Eastern Europe, Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and China present unique challenges to global providers due to their complicated regulatory environments.

Speaking exclusively to European CEO, CITIC Telecom CPC said it is no stranger to operating in difficult markets.

The company, which is a part of China’s state-owned CITIC Group, recently created CITIC Telecom CPC Europe out of its acquisition of LINX Telecom. This new division provides points of presence along the Silk Road, enabling the firm to serve the needs of clients across Asia and Eastern Europe as investments flow in and out of China due to the One Belt, One Road initiative.

CITIC CPC aims to stay at the forefront of technological innovation through its engineering lab in Chengdu in Southwest China, where its motto is “innovation never stops”. In Chengdu, the firm tests and develops solutions from its technology partners such as blockchain technology and big data analytics.

The cloud is another area of interest. CITIC CPC’s customers are increasingly moving their services to the cloud both to save money and to allow new technologies to reshape the way they operate.

Looking to the future, growth in the European enterprise market is of paramount importance as CITIC CPC helps businesses with networking and cloud requirements that stretch all the way from Tallinn to Tokyo.
