CPI Aerostructures Awarded $1 Million Order for Pod Structural Housings


EDGEWOOD, N.Y., Sept. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CPI Aerostructures, Inc. (“CPI Aero®”)  (NYSE American: CVU) announced today that it has received a purchase order valued at approximately $1 million from a leading global aerospace and defense company for the manufacture of pod structural housing assemblies. Work on this order will commence immediately and continue through the end of 2019.

CPI Aero has received several previous orders for this assembly totaling approximately $18 million since 2004 from the same customer and recently completed a contract that was awarded in 2016.
