SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alamo City Engineering Services, Inc. (ACES) today announced that it is now a certified training partner for ForeScout Technologies, Inc., a leading internet of things (IoT) security company, and ACES is now scheduling training classes to be conducted in their new training facility located within the San Antonio Technology Center. With the new training center, ACES can now provide in-house training for Administrators of ForeScout products with ACES Certified ForeScout Instructors (FSCI). This new certification supplements their ability to resell ForeScout CounterACT products as a platinum-level reseller and integrate the products with ACES ForeScout Certified Engineers (FSCE).
ForeScout and ACES can now provide customers with the full cycle of ForeScout solution adoption – from purchase to training. The ACES teaching staff are ForeScout Subject Matter Experts (SME) and each ForeScout SME has completed hundreds of successful CounterACT installations; this experience allows ACES staff to provide students a much broader vision based on years of successful installations. Training by ACES provides students with real world application based on work experienced by ForeScout Administrators, going beyond the standard curriculum.
ForeScout’s agentless solution helps organizations and government agencies gain instant visibility into the traditional and IoT devices that connect to their network, allow them to control connected devices based on security posture and policy, and orchestrate system-wide response.
“Our customers can complete the full cycle with ACES, they can purchase ForeScout products through us and have the solutions integrated by ACES, and they can now have their administrators trained by ACES SMEs,” said Robert Bryan, Director of Professional Services, ForeScout SME, and Certified ForeScout Trainer (FSCI) for ACES.
“Since ACES training is conducted by ForeScout Certified Engineers with years of real world experience, we can greatly simplify the procurement and sustainment chain from start to finish, while giving our customers a superior learning experience that will enrich their ability to manage ForeScout CounterACT to promote network security,” said Craig Stephens, President and CEO for ACES.
