The NCQA Prevalidation for Population Health Management, a new designation for NCQA, identifies technology solutions that have functionality and practices that help health plans and other organizations meet population health management-related standards in NCQA accreditation programs.

The NCQA prevalidation program is distinct from existing NCQA certifications and accreditations. With this new designation, Medecision can provide its clients with a Letter of Eligibility for certain accreditation standards. Health plans or other organizations that use NCQA prevalidated health IT solutions may benefit from easier document preparation, in addition to saving time and alleviating administrative effort associated with meeting requirements.
