Matrix Medical Network to Present at RISE Nashville Summit 2019

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Matrix Medical Network (Matrix) engages with health plan members wherever they are in their journey to health improvement, delivering healthcare services in homes and through its national fleet of mobile health clinics.  Matrix will be co-presenting a session at the RISE Nashville Summit that addresses major advancements in screening and testing technologies delivered in more accessible and convenient venues, which often results in more affordable and available care for eligible plan members.

Matrix Senior Vice President of Clinical Services Dr. Carmen Hill-Mekoba, DNP, APRN-BC, CCM, COHN will co-present with Medical Director of Strategic Programs Dr. Martin Wesolowski, DO, MBA of Martin’s Point Health Care.  The session, “Innovative Care Gap Strategies: The Evolution of Accessible and Convenient Advanced Screenings and Diagnostic Testing” will be held on Monday, March 18 at 1:40 p.m.  The presentation is part of the Summit’s Quality, Accountability and Transparency track.

During this session, Drs. Hill-Mekoba and Wesolowski will discuss unique approaches for engaging members; including a choice of venue, capturing multiple diagnoses, and completing follow-up tests.

“Many health plan members do not see a physician if they are not experiencing any symptoms, especially if they do not have easy access to care or they are homebound,” said Dr. Hill-Mekoba.  “Alternative sites such as a Matrix mobile health clinic can help engage members and address hard-to-close care gaps often in a single visit.”

Additionally, Matrix will have one of its state-of-the-art mobile health clinics on the exhibit floor of the RISE Nashville Summit, allowing attendees to experience first-hand the unique venue that provides preventive health screenings and enhanced diagnostics.
