North Releases New Dates and Locations for Focals Pop-Up Showroom

The smart glasses company is back on the road with its Pop-up Showroom, making its way through San Francisco and Santa Clara once again

SAN FRANCISCO, April 02, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- North, the makers of Focals smart glasses, continues its Pop-up Showroom tour with new dates after a completely sold out first three weeks on the road. Based on the high demand, North will be revisiting San Francisco starting April 6th and Santa Clara starting April 10th. Both stops are open to new appointments and final fittings for those who purchased Focals on the first leg of the tour. Note: Only non-prescription orders will be fulfilled at this time. 

The Pop-up Showroom allows potential customers to try-on Focals—demoing how the stylish smart glasses can send and receive text messages, show calendar updates, speak with Amazon Alexa, hail an Uber and more. Customers are also able to be custom-sized and place an order for Focals at the Pop-Up.

North launched its three-week mobile pop-up tour in February, starting in Seattle before moving on to Portland then San Francisco. North sold out of every single available appointment slot, even after doubling the number of appointments available to the public. The Pop-up Showroom continued on to Vision Expo East in New York City and the Intel Capital Global Summit in Arizona.

In addition to the expanded Showroom tour, North is continuing to make weekly updates to Focals, introducing new features such as music control, improved demo functionality, expanded meeting features and more.

Appointments are now available April 6-9 in San Francisco (601 Mission Bay Blvd North) and April 10-11 in Santa Clara (2200 Mission College Blvd). A full listing of available times can be found here.
