DENVER, May 01, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Visible, the all-digital phone service backed by Verizon, announced today that applications are open for the Visible Connect Accelerator Program. Now in its second year, the program aims to support nonprofits that are changing their communities through mobile technology, tackling critical issues such as hunger, housing, affordable medicine, and more.
Nonprofits accepted to the Visible Connect Accelerator Program will receive a $15,000 financial grant in addition to free mobile devices and phone service through Visible for one year. The program offers direct leadership coaching and mentorship so that founders and executives can grow and scale their organizations. Additionally, the Visible Connect Accelerator Program provides accepted nonprofits with access to a network of experts who can provide insight around technology, marketing, and infrastructure.

The inaugural 2018 Visible Connect Accelerator Program cohort was comprised of nine nonprofits, including CareerVillage.org, Feeding Children Everywhere, IssueVoter, Onward Financial, and others. Collectively, these companies meaningfully impacted more than four million lives.
