ATLANTA, GA, July 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New Acquisitions National Director, Adam Gerald, participated in Perfectvisions’ 2019 Atlanta Metro Classic to benefit the Atlanta Area Council’s Boy Scouts of America. The event took place at the Atlanta area golf club, Chateau Elan on May 13th & 14th, 2019. The local marketing firm has maintained a strong corporate culture centered around giving back to the community and continues to prove this through consistent participation in charitable events designed to benefit the local community.
Atlanta Area Council’s Boy Scouts of America is a small faction of an organization that the general public highly regards for the emphasis it places on shaping the future of our youth. According to the Council’s website, “More than 31,000 Metro-Atlanta youth take part in the once-in-a-lifetime adventures and character-building programs that can only be found in Scouting. In doing so, they discover skills they never knew they had and develop into the leaders we’ll need in the years to come.”
For many of us, we either participated in these programs ourselves or know someone who has. The focus of both Boy and Girl Scouts has always been to empower children by teaching them leadership and accountability, as well as helping them build relationships with their peers. The core values of Scouting are things that the local firm believes in as well. “Not unlike the Boy Scouts of America, our firm believes in teaching young professionals basic leadership and accountability skills while training them from the ground up,” says National Director, Gerald.
National Director, Gerald was part of a foursome that teed off on the morning of the 14th for a great cause. Not only did the foursome participate, but they also took home the first-place trophy for the event as well. Of course, winning is never considered to be the main goal at an event such as this, but at New Acquisitions they tend to have a flair for the competitive edge and maintain that it most everything they do. Furthermore, the firm loves that they can participate in a sport they love while also benefitting a good cause. New Acquisitions enjoys the sport and the cause so much, that is the second time they have participated in this event and they intend it do it again as well if given the opportunity.
