KENT, Ohio, August 4, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- Fineline Properties.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:FNLN) announces that they have finalized a three-year deal with licensing firm JASS International of Japan. JASS' clients are the top 300 manufacturers of licensed merchandise in Japan. JASS will be working closely with Fineline to establish successful licensing agreements with Japanese manufacturers. The main focus of JASS is to introduce foreign properties to the Japanese marketplace by establishing sublicensing agreements. JASS has been in the business of marketing foreign properties to the Japanese market for over 20 years.

They are one of the premiere firms in Japan, with Japan being the second largest marketplace in the world for licensed products. This is a big step forward for Fineline. The Japanese market is looked at by the rest of the world as the marketplace for the next hot property."
Mr. Isao Takahashi, president of JASS, has stated that they will place 30 manufacturers with each character group within the first year. This will establish a strong presence for Fineline's characters in Japan. This would bring in substantial revenue for both JASS and Fineline.
