CROCKETT, Texas, Dec. 7, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- ArchivalCD, Inc. (pre-IPO OTCBB:AHCD) is pleased to announce the selection of netSpark.com for completion of web development. The agreement with netSpark.com extends through the end of 2001, covering web design, branding, catalog, and e-business solutions.
"We think we have some unique goals in our web design requirements and were pleased to find that netSpark.com had many similar concepts," said Daniel J. Hay, CEO of ArchivalCD. "There is," he continues "an amazing synergy between our companies that led to some unexpected advances in our web development plans. It is going to be fun."
"The company web page at present is intentionally somewhat drab, but is serving the purpose as needed. Until our IPO process is done we don't want to generate much contact, so we have kept the webpage very basic. We don't like webpages bearing signs that they are under construction so will attempt to phase in the new pages as a completed project. To do that we have instigated a review program of all of our materials as we prepare them for the web server. This three-level program includes extensive in-house page reviews and testing as well as a Webpage Review Committee outside the company. The final pre-release review level will be an open testing with corporate shareholders," stated Hay, "and is much like a beta test series software programs go through. We expect to release the primary segments of our webpages within 90 days."
