SEBASTOPOL, Calif., March 23, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Purchasers of ZAPWORLD.COM's (Nasdaq:ZAPP) ZAP electric bicycles in parts of Southern California can qualify for a $250 rebate through a Los Angeles area clean air agency.
To receive the rebate, the buyer must agree to operate the electric bike in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino or Orange Counties, and must agree to commute to and from work on the electric bicycle instead of a gasoline motor vehicle. Funding for the rebate program is limited.
