Radiolinja Eesti and Nokia signed an agreement for the supply of a GRPS network for Estonia, following a year and a half of testing Nokia GPRS core-network and technology in the Radiolinja Ab network in Finland.
Under the agreement, Nokia will deliver the GPRS solution, which will enable Radiolinja Eesti to offer its customers state-of-the art mobile services and "always-connected" access to mobile data. According to the agreement, installation of the core-network infrastructure will begin in June, and the network is expected to be operational by November this year.
