LOS ANGELES, May 23, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- On May 14, 2001, the Internet Lottery Company unveiled the largest auction of lottery-related domains on the Internet. As expected, interest has been generated on a worldwide basis due to lotteries being projected to be a $130 billion worldwide industry this year.
The auction is being hosted on the Internet at lotterydomains.com and began May 16, 2001 and extends through May 31, 2001. The names range from homeslottery.com to modelslottery.com and offers both lottery and lotto names as well as .net and .tv versions of each unique name. The total offering includes 138 domains as well as 4 developed domains.
The auction has a minimum opening bid of $100,000 and does have a hidden reserve price. While the auction is scheduled to extend from May 16 to May 31, it will not end until 24 hours has passed after the last bid.
