UTRECHT, The Netherlands, May 31, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- NedGraphics Holding N.V. (NedGraphics) will propose the appointment of Mr. J.F.M.J. Mathijsen and Mr. A. van den End as members of the Supervisory Board during the extraordinary shareholders meeting to be held on June 18, 2001. The proposed appointments will lead to the succession of the Supervisory Board, which resigned as announced on May 14, 2001. NedGraphics is considering further appointments to the Supervisory Board.
Mr. Mathijsen is a lawyer, solicitor and Rechtsanwalt. He is partner in the law firm Willems Lawyers & RechtsanwAElte, which is part of an international network of law firms. Given his knowledge and cross-border experience, Mr. Mathijsen will play a valuable role in NedGraphics' international expansion. Mr. Van den End is a lawyer and also has ties with the venture capital company West End, which has a 5.01% stake in NedGraphics. Mr. Van den End has been nominated by major shareholders. NedGraphics' management fully supports the proposal.
During the extraordinary shareholders meeting, Mr. Robert Prince will be appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). After the announcement on April 9, 2001, Mr. Prince immediately joined NedGraphics as Vice President of Finance & Administration.
