DALLAS, June 26, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Integrated Systems Sector (ISS) announced today the appointment of Rodney L. Casey to director-West Coast Customer Service and Business Development.
Based in San Diego, Mr. Casey directs ISS field marketing and customer service activities for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviation units in Southern California and Nevada. In this role, he is responsible for developing business opportunities for sector products.
Prior to joining Northrop Grumman in June 2001, Mr. Casey was employed with Haulsey Engineering Inc. in San Diego as an organizational analyst and project manager involving U.S. Navy aviation requirements, logistics and training alignment initiatives. In June 2000, he retired with the rank of captain from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service. In the Navy, he held numerous flying and aviation-related managerial positions, including serving several tours as a commanding officer. His primary operational flying was in the F-4 Phantom and F-14 Tomcat.
Mr. Casey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a minor in industrial engineering from Oregon State University.
