LOS ANGELES, July 21 , 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Pervasys, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PVYS) and L.A. Nitelife Productions announced today an agreement for the Webcasting of the popular cable television program "L.A. Nitelife with James Bartholet" beginning with today's 12th anniversary show featuring famed LA nightclub DJ, DJ CRASH, and the L.A. Nitelife spokesmodels and dancers.
Pervasys will also Webcast this weekends annual "Gourmet Taste of LA," -- the successor to the annual "Best of LA" -- featuring musical performances by L. DeBarge, the Bus Boys, Jackie Wilson, the Young Dubliners, amoung many other acts. It also features gourmet food from around L.A., including well-known restaurants, such as Delmonico's Lobster House, Caffe Luna and Brasserie des Artistes. At the event, the digital signal could be viewed on a laptop with a wireless modem.
The webcasts will be available to be seen at www.lanitelifejames.com beginning in August and will entail elements of the current shows, footage from previous broadcasts, as well as out-takes and footage not available elsewhere.
The long-running (9 years), award-winning "L.A. Nitelife with James Bartholet" is seen nationwide over Adelphia Cable, a division of Adelphia Communications Corp. (Nasdaq:ADLAC) and covers the Los Angeles area restaurant, club and entertainment scene from an insider's perspective, as well as other "hot" entertainment cities. Host, James Bartholet, has recently signed with "Fox in the Morning Show," XETV-Fox, Channel 6 in San Diego, a division of Fox Television (NYSE:FOX) to provide features on the nightlife scene every Wednesday. He also is a featured columnist for Rock City News (www.rockcitynews.com), the Santa Clara Vision and will soon be featured in Talent Magazine.

L.A. Nightlife Productions and Pervasys management stated that details on the show format and launch date should be released within the next two weeks.
The digital event was engineered by Daniel F. O'Neill for Pervasys, in conjunction with Brian Horton, who engineered the wireless transmission portion of the cybercast using the wireless technologies of Consolidated Gold Win Ventures (CDNX:CGW). The digital signal from Pervasys' FeLIX video broadcast server is attached to the CGW Wireless Hub System, from which digital transmission emantes. The live digital feed can be viewed on lap top computers with wireless modems throughout the event.
