STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Jan. 17, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- OM has acquired the operations and staff of Hostmark, the Swedish subsidiary of WorldPort Incorporated. Hostmark's operations consist of operating and hosting business critical systems from a data center outside Stockholm. The data center will be integrated with OM's newly formed business area for facility management - Global Services - handling facility management and hosting of systems for companies within financial and energy markets. The investment is already expected to have a positive impact on results in 2002.

OM has 250 employees within the business area Global Services which has operations in Stockholm, London, New York and Sydney. Global Services today operates 13 exchanges for customers worldwide. Global Services most recent customer is Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE), which recently signed an agreement with OM regarding outsourced operation and development of a new system for SFE's financial clearing services.
WorldPort Incorporated's subsidiary Hostmark has been active in facility management and hosting in Sweden since 2000. The data center was inaugurated in April 2001 and is one of Sweden's largest and the most advanced data center with its 10 000 m-squared. It is built to meet very high demands on security from customers who are dependent on around-the-clock up-time.
