LONDON, Jan. 29, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NDS Group (Nasdaq:NNDS) (Nasdaq Europe:NNDS).

Highlights: 


 -- Revenue up 5% to 56 million pounds ($81 million)
 
 -- Operating income up 23% to 13.4 million pounds ($19.4 million)
 
 -- Diluted cash earnings per share up 12% to 18.2p (26.4 cents)
 
 -- Subscribers grow by 1.6 million in quarter
