Volvo Buses Germany has received an order for 37 city buses from Berlin's local bus operator, Berliner Verkehrsgesellschaft (BVG).
BVG is Germany's largest local bus operator and the buses they have ordered are the low-floor version of the Volvo 7000. The buses will be built at Volvo Buses' plants in Boras, Sweden and Wroclaw, Poland. Delivery is scheduled for June 2002. This is the second time a local bus operator in Germany's largest city has chosen to purchase city buses from Volvo.
