MALMO, Sweden, March 1, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Teleca has received an order from BEDD Inc., a US company. The assignment involves software and hardware design for a new wireless consumer product.
The turnkey project covers stages from technical specification to production. The end product aims for mass production for the consumer market and communicates using Bluetooth wireless technology. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 10 M.
Development of communications technologies in consumer products is a specialized area within Teleca and is viewed as a key driving force in the company's development in the years ahead.
