BROMMA, Sweden, May 23, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The IT integrator Dimension's subsidiary in Lithuania, Compservis Open Systems, has received a follow-up order from the country's largest energy company, Lietuvos Energija AB. The order, which comprises the delivery and commissioning of business-critical IT infrastructure, is valued at approximately SEK 8 million.
Lietuvos Energija is Lithuania's largest energy company, active in the power transmission and generation as well as developing market operator for the country's electricity market. To ensure a high level of availability in its business-critical billing and sales as well as electricity trading systems and to future-proof its growing volumes of data, Lietuvos Energija has decided to expand its IT environment. The project to design, supply and commission the server and storage solution was awarded to Dimension, which has successfully cooperated with the company for several years.

The solution will be commissioned during the summer.
