BROMMA, Sweden, June 20, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Dimension Telecom subsidiary of IT integrator Dimension has received an order from one of Sweden's 3G operators to implement a new technical platform for the company's 3G network. The order value is approximately SEK 10 million.
Dimension Telecom's work on the technical service platform is part of the 3G operator's expansion of the infrastructure that facilitates administration and distribution of services in the 3G network.
"We are seeing that competition in the telecom sector is increasingly focusing on network content and services," said Sven Uthorn, Managing Director of Dimension AB. "The confidence this 3G company has shown in us further strengthens our position in advance of the changes facing the telecom market, which I am convinced will result from the introduction of 3G networks and expanded services in mobile networks."
Dimension will also provide services such as integration, implementation and consulting.
