STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Danish Transportation Company DFDS Transport has used ReadSoft's software FORMS for several years to automate the handling of consignment notes. Now DFDS accelerates their automatic document capture strategy by implementing ReadSoft's INVOICES technology to automatically process their invoices. The order value is 400,000 USD.
DFDS Transport is a global provider of transportation and logistics services. By using INVOICES, the company will turn supplier invoices into easily accessible data. INVOICES will be implemented in the Danish headquarters of DFDS Transport. After the first installation, DFDS Transport will roll out the software internationally. ReadSoft's FORMS product is already used to automate the handling of consignment notes in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the U.K. This minimizes the need for manual keying of information. Now DFDS Transport has decided to make a major investment in ReadSoft's INVOICES product.
