SOLNA, Sweden, Sept. 13, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Roads has sold its 45-percent interest in the company Kiruna Grus-och Stenforadling to LKAB. The sale will have only a marginal affect on NCC's earnings.
Kiruna Grus-och Stenforadling is a leading company in the Swedish county of Norrbotten in the area of concrete production, rock reinforcement, and working and crushing of industrial and ballast material. The company had sales of SEK 167 million in 2001, with 90 employees.
The sale is a step in NCC Roads' efforts to streamline its operations.
