LINKOPING, Sweden, Nov. 22, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Swedish IT and medical technology company Sectra (Other OTC:SSBBF) (Stockholm:SECTb) widens its Clinical Solutions Network by signing a cooperation agreement with Mirada Solutions Ltd., an Oxford U.K. based medical software development company. Through the agreement, Mirada's solution for image fusion is fully integrated into Sectra's system for handling digital x-ray images.
Mirada's Fusion7D(TM) solution provides rigid and deformable image fusion for CT, PET, SPECT and MRI applications. Included within the Fusion7D(TM) package is a range of 3D visualisation and measurement tools to maximise the clinical and diagnostic value of multi-modal registration and fusion.
