OMAHA, Neb., Jan. 2, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Adesta LLC, a leading systems integrator for communications networks, electronic security systems, and intelligent transportation systems, received over $6 million in new security work from the United States Army Corps of Engineers Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The work will take place over the next six months.
Adesta will be installing, upgrading, surveying, and maintaining electronic security systems all over the world. Some of the locations include: Arkansas, California, Japan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Washington State. Adesta supports all aspects of electronic security systems, including intrusion detection systems, closed circuit television systems, electronic entry control systems, physical security, and counter-terrorism measures.
Since 1991, Adesta has been a prime electronic security systems contractor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Installation Support Center of Expertise (IS-CX). This contract provides government end-users with one-stop shopping for their demanding electronic and physical security needs. Some end-users serviced under these contracts include the U.S. Army, National Guard Bureau, Defense Logistics Agency, Smithsonian Institution, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Reclamation, and the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.
