Mr Poul Erik Tofte, 46, has been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer at FLS Industries A/S. Mr Tofte holds a Masters degree in business economics and Graduate Diplomas in management accounting, marketing and organisation.
Poul Erik Tofte succeeds Ms Birgitte Nielsen who - as previously announced - has decided to seek new challenges outside the FLS Group.
Poul Erik Tofte will take up his new position by 27 January. He currently holds a similar position at NetTest A/S, having previously, from 1994 to 2001, served as Corporate Treasurer with GN Store Nord. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1994, he was Chief Financial Officer at Monberg & Thorsen, and from 1986 to 1989 we was Chief Financial Officer with the securities company Carnegie Børsmæglerselskab.
The new FLS Group CFO thus brings with him a broad scope of experience and high-level competence in financial management and control as well as investor relations. His background and profile ideally match the responsibilities he will be given and continue to develop in his new position.
