One Man's Path -- New author offers inspiration through his personal struggles

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif., Feb. 13, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- New author, Scott Faia, encourages individuals to strive for a higher purpose in all that they do. In his newly released book, Chronicles of a Soul's Journey (now available through 1stBooks Library), Faia seeks to inspire by recounting the daily moments that become "markers on the path to conscious living."

Chronicles of a Soul's Journey follows Faia's personal passage as he struggles to become a "spiritual human being." Humanity wrestles with related issues, Faia says. Consequently, Faia created his book to shed light on the problems that are often just beneath the surface.

Heaven can exist on Earth, however it takes individual "transformation," Faia says. He defines transformation as "the dropping away of the old that no longer works and is unacceptable in life in order to embrace the new." In other words: "Out with the old and in with the new." As readers begin to open up to Faia's optimistic messages, they take their first steps toward the "new," bringing them ever closer to his goal: experiencing the pleasure of common, everyday encounters.

The overall goal, Faia notes, is for individuals to become "the highest beings destiny has in store" for them to be. Only then can they "appreciate love, peace, beauty and joy the way they were meant to be experienced." It is in this end that readers may find "harmony," he adds.

Faia is a current resident of southern California. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Central and South America. Faia has studied holistic and spiritual education for just short of two decades. He has a bachelor's degree in management and spent six years as a public speaker in the telecommunications industry.

Chronicles of a Soul's Journey is Faia's first published work.
