STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 20, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sodertalje municipality has signed an agreement with Sign On (Other OTC:SGONF) (Stockholm:SION) for design and distribution of forms via the municipality's Website.
In 2002 the chairman of the municipal executive, Anders Lago, initiated a 77-point list for a better Sodertalje. The list covers everything from opening more upper-secondary schools to environmental impact. One of the points is "We are trying new ways of increasing contact and participation via the municipality's home page, www.sodertalje.se."
The deal with Sign On offers citizens a simple way of using the Internet for notifications and applications via the municipality's home page.
"Providing digital forms at www.sodertalje.se is an excellent and self-evident service for the municipality's residents," said Mattias Johansson, Web editor for Sodertalje municipality.
