Under the terms of the agreement, BNX will integrate Precise Biometrics' technology with its Identity Management Suite as its premier fingerprint device and resell the products to its customers. The joint BNX-Precise Biometrics offering will enable organizations to increase security through conclusive identity verification; enhance user convenience through faster logon times; and reduce costs by mitigating password resets and other administrator support.Following the initial product integration, to be completed in July 2003, BNX customers will be able to deploy Precise Biometrics' Precise BioMatcha Match-on-Server/PC fingerprint recognition technology for governing access to enterprise applications and resources. Subsequent product integration will include Precise Biometrics' software for storing and matching fingerprints on smart cards, Precise Match-on-Carda.
The BNX Identity Management Suite is a unified authentication management and single sign-on solution that enables organizations to govern access to enterprise, Web and terminal emulated applications with one comprehensive management platform. Organizations currently using the BNX Suite include the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, St. Luke's Episcopal Health System, the U.S. Air Force Academy Hospital, Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and an unnamed Fortune 100 financial services company.
