STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 02, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Song Networks Holding AB's (Stockholmsborsen:SONW) (Other OTC:SONWF) Swedish subsidiary Song Networks Svenska AB announces that Song Networks has signed an agreement to supply voice and data communication to The Prison and Probation Administration's 130 offices in Sweden. The assignment is carried through in cooperation with Dotcom Solutions. The agreement extends over five years and has a value for Song Networks of approximately SEK 87 million.
The contracting party towards the Prison and Probation Administration is the system integration company Dotcom Solutions, which will be responsible to establish a communication solution for the Prison and Probation Administration's voice and data communication. Dotcom Solutions has chosen Song Networks as operator and Song Networks will deliver a communication solution including traditional voice and an IP VPN service that the Prison and Probation Administration uses for IP voice and data communication.
