Vice Admiral (USN Ret.) Appointed to MB Tech Advisory Board

LOS ANGELES, July 15, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- MB Tech, Inc. (OTCBB:MBTT) announced today that Vice Admiral Henry C. Giffin, III (USN Ret.) has been appointed to the MB Tech Advisory Board.

Giffin will advise the Company on sales and contracting to the U.S. government and military.

Giffin earned his Master of Science Degree in Industrial Personnel Management from George Washington University. Additionally, he graduated with highest distinction from the National War College.

Vice Admiral Giffin assumed command of the Atlantic Naval Surface Force in 1997 and served in that capacity until retiring.

An accomplished military leader, his decorations include the Defense Superior Medal, the Legion of Merit with three gold stars, the Bronze Star, the Navy Commendation Medal with two gold stars, the Vietnam Honor Medal First Class and various service and campaign awards.

"The United States Navy and the US Military as a whole are significant satellite communications equipment users and we believe that we can provide products that fit their needs for mobile vehicles, vessels, and in the field; providing light weight and compact mobile satellite receiver antennas and dish equipment for their communications needs. We are honored to have Vice Admiral Giffin to assist us in that effort." Said Hanwook Bae, President of MB Tech.

Giffin added, "Antennas that are used for TV frequencies would be in demand for shipboard entertainment systems, but hopefully the antennas would be useable for other combat related frequencies from satellites, where there is a high demand on ships and vehicles." He also commented, "Current antennas are far too large and take up too much space on ships particularly high up on the superstructure, where weight and radar cross section (size) are an issue. Ships masts look like antenna farms, and data exchange is severely limited by the bandwidth available. Similarly vehicles must have small antennas to be able to tie into the networks we are building-called "Network Centered Warfare". There is tremendous opportunity here if this technology can be translated into meeting military requirements."
