FOERSLOEV, Sweden, July 30, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Peab has acquired all shares in the finish family-owned company Vasa Betongstation AB (Oy Vasan Betoniasema). The turnover of Vasa Betong amounts SEK 40 million and the company has three plants for production and sale of pre-mix concrete in the Osterbotten area in Finland.
"This is Peabs first acquisition of production units for pre-mix concrete in Finland. The acquisition means that Peab now will be established on the finish concrete-market," said Peabs executive vice president Mats O Paulsson
