STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 03, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Now all Vodafone live! (NYSE:VOD) users in Sweden always have a dictionary in their pocket, and know where to find the English and Swedish words when they need them. The mobile dictionary is offered in Vodafone live! by WordFinder Software AB.

In addition to this new partnership, the Vodafone live! user interface has also been given a new look*, which makes it even easier to make use of all of Vodafone live's content services.

The dictionary service is already working in Vodafone live!, and WordFinder Software will initially be offering WordFinder with Norstedt's dictionary Swedish-English/English-Swedish.

"By offering our dictionary program as a service within Vodafone live! we increase people's ability always to have access to the right word in the right context. We're convinced that as more and more people have global contacts, it will be a major advantage to have language support in your mobile phone," said Thomas Olsson, MD of WordFinder Software AB.

For Vodafone, the partnership with WordFinder Software is an important element in the task of making Vodafone live's range of services even more comprehensive.

"Vodafone live! offers a diversity of content services that can both entertain and help people in their everyday lives. The WordFinder dictionary program is an extremely popular tool for lots of PC users today, and we're convinced that the service can also satisfy a major demand in the mobile market," said Goran Mannerstrale, Director of Consumer Affairs at Vodafone Sweden.

For an initial trial period, access to WordFinder will be free of charge apart from the usual surfing charge.

The Vodafone live! user interface has also been given a new look to make it even easier for users to gain access to all of the services in the portal. New content has been added in addition to WordFinder. This includes 15 or so Java games, and many of the games already included have been modified to be compatible with more of the cameraphones that are part of Vodafone live!
