Marsh, a leading supermarket chain in the US, has implemented PayWare EPS at its Indianapolis, Indiana, headquarters and the solution is currently being rolled out in 120 stores in the Midwest.
PayWare EPS enables retailers like Marsh to implement an electronic gift card solution that eliminates the need for costly paper gift certificates. The PayWare solution allows gift cards to be issued at the point of sale, through vending machines or over the Internet. Electronic gift certificates can also be redeemed and updated automatically by customers at checkout or at automated unmanned terminals, thereby reducing processing costs and increasing revenue opportunities.
