(OTCBB:VISH) announced today that its distribution division Electric Kingdom has inked two new video distribution contracts; with the signing of Colorado-based First On Board and Hollywood's Hawkeye Entertainment. Sales solicitation to all major retail chains will begin with "A Malibu Christmas" hosted by Carmen Electra of Bay-Watch and MTV fame. The DVD is set for release November 4, 2003; with further programs from Hawkeye Entertainment to release throughout the 2003-2004 winter season.
Viastar's move to add the distribution of DVD titles to its catalog is part of the company's commitment to expand the services of Electric Kingdom, while entering the multi-billion dollar home video/entertainment market.
Hawkeye Entertainment's debut release "Carmen Elektra's A Malibu Christmas" features the multi-platinum artists "The Malibooz" as it documents the rituals of the world of surfing during the holiday season. The program includes classic surf songs from the Malibooz, The Chantays and the Aquavelvets.
First On Board specializes in sports and exercise related videos from snowboarding to free-style skateboarding. Its first releases will include the historic "Snowboarding- Old School" and the Dave Vanderspek video series "Curb Dogs."
