Nomadix' CTO Joel Short to Discuss Leveraging Wi-Fi Opportunities for ISPs and WISPs

  WHAT:            Dr. Joel Short, chief technology officer

                   Future: Opportunities for ISPs and WISPs.

  WHO:             Dr. Joel Short is the Chief Technology Officer and
                   Sr. Vice President of Nomadix, a company he 
                   co-founded with Internet Pioneer Dr. Leonard

                   mobile users. Dr. Short also serves as vice-chair

                   Roaming." Dr. Short has extensive experience in the
                   design and management of complex computer network  
                   systems, having worked  for various technology 
                   start-ups and well-known technology companies 
                   including Apple Computer. He received his Ph.D. in 
                   Computer Science from UCLA where he was a lead 
                   contributor to various ARPA sponsored wireless and
                   mobile research projects including TRAVLER - 
                   Transparent Virtual Networking and WAMIS - 
                   Wireless Adaptive Mobile Information Systems.
