Force Protection's TSG Division Awarded Training Contract


CHARLESTON, S.C., Oct. 27, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Technical Solutions Group (TSG), a subsidiary of Force Protection, Inc. (OTCBB:FRCP) was awarded a contract from ManTech International Corporation to provide training for the operation of "Buffalo" Mine Protected Clearance Vehicles, which are manufactured by TSG. The training addresses operator handling, maintenance, and the use of the Buffalos for landmine removal. Training will be conducted in Afghanistan and Iraq, where ManTech provides ongoing in-country maintenance for Buffalo vehicles. TSG will provide training and technical backup for ManTech and, under the terms of the contract, will supply all management personnel, material, equipment and data necessary. The value of the contract was not announced.
