Koala Announces Former Vice Admiral of the Atlantic Fleet Naval Surface Force, Henry C. Giffin III Joins Advisory Board

Vice Admiral Giffin was promoted to Flag Rank in July 1992 and completed his first Flag Officer assignment in November 1994 as Assistant Chief of Staff, Logistics, Allied Forces Southern Europe. Assigned as Commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group Two in March 1995, he deployed to the Mediterranean as commander, George Washington Battle Group, and earned his second star in June 1995. In September 1996, he assumed duties as Deputy and Chief of Staff, United States Atlantic Fleet. He was promoted to Vice Admiral and assumed command of the Atlantic Fleet Naval Surface Force of July 1, 1997.
