Grand Island, Nebraska Fire Department Joins the Growing Ranks of ProMag Users

21st Century Technologies is Building its Case For Federal Funding

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Grand Island, Nebraska's fire department has become the latest to acquire ProMag, the permanent magnet powered quick sealing system for leaks and ruptures, manufactured by 21st Century Technologies'(OTCBB:TFCT) wholly-owned subsidiary, Trident Technologies, Inc. The Department asked for early delivery of its ProMag 6 Set so it would be available for demonstration to 6 early response teams from other fire departments set to visit Grand Island for training during the latter part of February, 2004. Trident will comply with Grand Island's request. Additional sales are a distinct possibility.

John Dumble, Trident's sales manager who negotiated that Grand Island sale, said, "Every fire department or other first response agency, such as police or EMT teams, which acquires ProMag for public service supports our case which is being made in Washington to the Department of Homeland Security, and, lately, the Department of Transportation. I deal with these departments and agencies on a daily basis. Nearly universally, those that have heard of or seen ProMag want them as part of their equipment list. I know that their needs and wants will be met by federal funding. It is my strong belief that ProMag will become as common a part of their equipment list as HAZMAT gloves or breathing apparatus. Grand Island joins Sacramento, Honolulu and El Paso and North Platte and other sales in equipping itself with ProMag... our system is the best and the most cost effective."

As part of its program to cause exposure of ProMag to emergency response teams, 21st has donated ProMags to training centers, such as the Department of Transportation's facility at Boulder, Colorado and the State of Louisiana's facility at Holden, Louisiana. These facilities regularly train First Reponse teams in the application and use of ProMag. 21st advises of numerous sales originating by early exposure to ProMag through these types of training facilities.

Arland D. Dunn, President and CEO of 21st Century stated "Every one of these sales for public use creates a positive impression on the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Transportation. As the word spreads, our position Strengthens. Grand Island is one sale. But when combined with the others, it is powerful statement being made to the Federal Government."
