STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Jan. 15, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Annual General Meeting of AB Lindex on 15 January 2004 approved the Board of Director's proposal to pay the shareholders a dividend of SEK 12 per share. 20 January 2004 was set as the record day for the right to receive a dividend. The dividend will be remitted by VPC on 23 January 2004.
Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg, Gerard De Geer, Jorgen Johansson, Bengt Larsson and Lars Otterbeck were re-elected as Board Members. Christer Gardell and Conny Karlsson were elected as Board Members. Christer Gardell (born 1960) is President and partner of Amaranth Capital AB. Mr Gardell has no other assignments. Conny Karlsson (born 1955) is a consultant and Chairman of MTV Produktion AB, Wilh.Sonesson AB and Tybring-gjedde ASA. Michael Lemner, Tommy Persson and Erik Stensrud did not stand for re-election.
The employees have appointed Karin Larsson and Rigmor Lindback, HAF as Board Members. Alice Eriksson, HAF and Rune Lindstrand, HTF have been appointed as Deputy Board Members.
The accounting firm, Ohrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers AB was re-elected as auditors with Magnus Gotenfelt in charge.
Remuneration of the Board of Directors was set at SEK 1,075,000. The Board will decide on the distribution of this amount between the Board Members.
Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg (ForeningsSparbanken AB), Ramsay Brufer (Alecta) and Bjorn Lind (SEB Asset Management) were re-elected, and Lars Forberg (Amaranth Capital AB) elected, as Members of the Nomination Committee.
At the Inaugural Board Meeting immediately after the AGM Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg was re-elected as Chairwoman.
