JetBlue Announces New Vice President, Corporate Finance and Treasurer

John Harvey to Oversee Financing, Risk Management and Credit Card Services


NEW YORK, Jan. 23, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) today named John Harvey, Vice President, Corporate Finance and Treasurer. Mr. Harvey joins JetBlue after serving as Senior Vice President at SkyWorks Capital, LLC. Mr. Harvey previously held the position of Vice President Treasurer with JetBlue from 1999 until 2003. "John was a valuable member of the start-up team with JetBlue in 1999," said David Neeleman, JetBlue's Chairman and CEO. "We're pleased John has decided to rejoin the JetBlue Family as we continue to grow and expand."

Mr. Harvey most recently held the position of Senior Vice President with SkyWorks Capital LLC, a valued business partner of JetBlue. During his previous 4 years with JetBlue, Mr. Harvey was a key player on the Company's IPO team. Harvey is also credited with financing over $1 billion in aircraft orders and creating JetBlue's fuel hedging program. Mr. Harvey initially joined JetBlue in 1999, bringing with him over 9 years of progressive airline experience from both Southwest Airlines, Co. and America West Airlines, Inc.

Mr. Harvey earned both a BBA in Accounting and a Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. Harvey is also a CPA and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Harvey will work at the Company's headquarters in Forest Hills.
