BALTIMORE, March 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VYST) is pleased to announce that it has completed modifications to its Baltimore facility to include new manufacturing and engineering work stations along with a sophisticated demonstration area to market the company's technology.
The addition of these new areas will allow View to meet future production needs along with enabling distributors and potential customers to experience the technology, and its integration with various security components in one modern and professional setting. This is much more cost effective for the company and allows people around the world to see the facility, the technology and experience a live demonstration with highly trained, in-house professionals.
As a result of the improved facility, engineers now have the ability to internally enhance the functionality, design and performance of the technology. Two of the most recent modifications for the Secure Scan include:
-- Widening the walk-through area by 20% to accommodate
wheelchairs and other disability needs, larger size people
and allow for integration into doorway structures. This was
a major request by both dealers and end users.
-- A mobile/portable version that allows the Secure Scan to be
moved from one place to another as needed. Many of the high
schools wanted this so they can provide initial student
entrance security in the AM and security checks for after
school activities such as sporting events, dances etc., where
many violent incidents and killings have occurred in other
building areas. The mobile version also lends itself to use
in the event driven businesses, like college and professional
sports arenas, high attendance gatherings and the entertainment
field such as movie premiers, etc.
