Telelogic receives six year agreement from BAE SYSTEMS worth Euro 6.46 million

World's Leading Defense Manufacturer Signs Long-Term License Agreement to Give Systems and Software Engineers Greater Access to DOORS Enterprise Suite

MALMO, Sweden, March 15, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that it has signed a six year Euro 6.46 million license agreement with BAE SYSTEMS Plc, the UK's largest manufacturing exporter of advanced defense and aerospace products. The agreement includes the DOORS(R) Enterprise Suite (ERS) which will be utilized within BAE SYSTEMS and in joint ventures across its business operations including Avionics, Platform Solutions, CDI, Air Systems, CS&S, Alenia Marconi Systems Limited and MBDA UK. In addition, other business areas have the ability to purchase specific DOORS products to cater for tactical requirements.

This agreement is an extension of the contracts signed in 2001 and 2002. About 30% of the contract value replaces these previous two contracts.

With this agreement BAE SYSTEMS will expand use of Telelogic's complete product portfolio for DOORS ERS, including DOORS, DOORSnet(TM), DOORS Enterprise Change Proposal Systems(TM) (ECPS), DOORS Tender Management(TM), and DOORS/Analyst(TM).

"Telelogic worked closely with BAE SYSTEMS and their Global IT partner Computer Sciences Corporation, to build upon and expand the successful agreements already in place with the Avionics and Air Systems / CS&S Divisions signed prior to 2003," said Anders Lidbeck, President and CEO of Telelogic. ``It is due to our success that the Enterprise Steering Group took the decision to expand the existing agreements and introduce additional products to strengthen the requirements management capability across the business, fully backed up by a product training and implementation consultancy package to meet their business needs. Today's announcement not only strengthens our long-term relationship with BAE SYSTEMS, but also further confirms our leading position in this industry," Lidbeck concluded.

Peter Robinson, chairman of the Enterprise Steering Group for BAE SYSTEMS said ``We were keen to establish a flexible business model that would allow as many of our business divisions as possible to gain access to Telelogic's tools and services in a cost effective and efficient manner. The inclusion of Telelogic's latest products, DOORS ECPS and DOORS/Analyst and DOORS Tender Management into this agreement has helped to bolster the range of functionality available to our engineers and project managers in the challenging task of managing complex requirements."

The agreement covers all product licenses, support, upgrades, training and consultancy in a single contract. It enables BAE SYSTEMS to efficiently roll out a powerful requirements management capability to more systems and software engineers for a wide range of projects in its business.

"By selecting Telelogic and their innovative approach to helping us achieve our business goals in the requirements management domain we are also ensuring that we comply with the requirement process in place with many of our end customers, such as the UK Ministry of Defence and the US Department of Defense," said Robinson.
