Flextronics Network Services And TeliaSonera Sign Five-Year Agreement and Expand Partnership


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Flextronics Network Services (Nasdaq:FLEX) and TeliaSonera AB today announced an agreement to expand the scope of their relationship. Under the terms of the five-year deal, Flextronics Network Services will become the main supplier of onsite installation and maintenance services for TeliaSoneras' fixed network customers.

In 2001, TeliaSonera sold its installation and maintenance organization as well as 5,000 employees to Flextronics Network Services. Prior to today's announcement, TeliaSonera had bought delivery, installation, and maintenance services in select product- and geographical areas from Flextronics Network Services. The new agreement expands their partnership, both geographically and by volume.
