Tele2 Sells Its Cable-TV Network In Estonia


New YORK and STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 13, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tele2 AB, ("Tele2") (Nasdaq:TLTOA) (Nasdaq:TLTOB) (Stockholmsborsen:TEL2A and TEL2B) the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company, today announced that it has sold 100% of its Estonian cable-TV operations Levi Kaabel, Tallinna Kaabeltelevisiooni and Telset Communications Group to the market leader Starman.

All current contracts and other service packages will remain valid after the sale to Starman.
